Attorney – General Corporate – Private Investment Funds
Seek highly qualified mid-level associate with comparable law firm experience to join Business and Finance Group’s Private Investment Funds Practice, which advises general partners, limited partners, investment advisers, and administrators, of all types of funds, including: hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of funds, venture capital funds, mezzanine funds, distressed debt funds, clean-tech funds, and so on. Also represent clients in secondary sales and purchases of fund interests, “seed” investor arrangements, managed account arrangements, joint venture structures, and other complex investment structures. Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience primarily with hedge funds and secondarily with private equity, including review of hedge fund and/or private equity fund documentation (fund operative documents and subscription agreements) on behalf of sponsors of funds or institutional investors. The candidate must posses excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, writing, and analytical skills.
